KATHMANDU, Oct 12: The distribution of departure and entry permits for residents of two remote villages in the Nepal-China border region of Mustang has officially commenced.

RASUWA, July 27: People's movement has increased at Rasuwagadhi, the northern point along the Nepal-China border in Rasuwa lately. The checkpoint, which was closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, resumed its operations on April 1. Since then, there has been a rise in trade and touristic activities in the area.

SINDHUPALCHOWK, April 18:  A bilateral meeting of security officers from Nepal and China was held on Monday. The meeting focused on various issues of mutual concerns such as the reopening of the Tatopani transit point along the Nepal-China border in the district, border management, control of cross-border crimes and other contemporary issues.

GORKHA, Nov 4: Nepal Army, known for opening track at the toughest sites in the country has taken the responsibility of constructing the Benighat–Larke road track near the Nepal-China border. While the army is busy blasting rocks and leveling the track for further construction, children are also seen working alongside with their elder family members. They carry stones, clear the passage and dig the earth surface. Currently, the army is opening 118 kilometers of the total of 183 kilometers road section.

GALESHWOR, Oct 7: Parliamentary Committee on Development has instructed the government to open Nepal-China Korala border point for bilateral trade ahead of the Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign.

“It was 2039 BS. I was working for Nepal Police. I had to travel with my colleagues to Pachimnala. The trip was for official purposes. Our final destination was the Nepal-China border.  A fight broke out with the locals of Sangekhola.

Chhoser-Korala road upgraded

MUSTANG, Dec 5: The Chhoser-Korala road section linking the Jomsom in Mustang district to Korala, the transit point on the Nepal-China border in Mustang has been upgraded.

RASUWA, Oct 25: Rasuwagadhi Customs Office has surpassed revenue target for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2018/19. The customs office along Nepal-China border collected Rs 2.32 billion between mid-July and mid-October. The collection is 3.87 percent higher than the targeted Rs 2.2 billion.
