CHITWAN, Dec 2: Bed Prasad Regmi, 56, cannot move around without crutches. His back aches and muscle cramps sometimes 'kill' him. He is unable to work and earn like other normal persons but his medical expenses are quite high. "The conflict ruined my life," he laments.

The committees were established in all 75 districts but with no further budget allocations they are now on the verge of dissolution.
DANG, April 17: Kamal Rokka, an exiled Nepali Congress leader of Rolpa's Thawang village, recently got a phone call from a political rival of his village which is popularly known as the bastion of Maoist insurgency. The caller was an influential left-wing leader of Thawang, who until recent was against holding the local elections. However, the call was to offer his support and express his interest in conducting the local polls in Thawang by setting aside their differences.
KATHMANDU, Aug 18: The reconstruction of heritage monuments devastated by the deadly quake of 2015 inside the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) is unlikely to be completed within five years if the present trend of budget allocation continues.
