KATHMANDU, April 16: The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) has said that the money invested by general public for Kathmandu-Hetauda Tunnel Highway is at risk. But the government appears heedless about protecting the public money.
Here is a serious reason to worry. The price of timber in the local market is going all time high. If one has to purchase timber for constructing houses, one has to pay as much as Rs 6,000 per cubic meter.
DHADING, June 7: Khomaya Tamang’s home in Gangajamuna Rural Municipality of Dhading district was destroyed by the 2015 earthquake. Along with the damage to her house, she also had her right arm fractured. She lay injured in a field for four days until a rescue helicopter arrived and carried her to the District Hospital in Dhandingbesi.
An interesting thing about the temple is that the jaladhar of the Shivalinga faces east whereas almost all jaladhars in other Shivalaingas are faced south. The water offered to the Shivalinga falls on the idol of Lord Ram situated on east side of the Shivalinga.
