KATHMANDU, May 11: Former prime minister and senior leader of the ruling CPN-UML has expressed his dissatisfaction over the working style of the government saying that the government has not done anything more than just talking about economic prosperity.
Just over half of voters (54%) in Kathmandu-2 think that Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal (CPN-UML) will be the winner. The next candidates mentioned are Surya Raj Acharya of Bibeksheel Sajha Party (20%) and Ganesh Prasad Simkhada of Naya Shakti Party (16%).
CPN-UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is very active in poll campaigning following the formation of Left Alliance. Leader Nepal, who is a candidate from the alliance from Kathmandu constituency 2, is confident on clear majority of the alliance.
KATHMANDU, Sept 30: A funeral ceremony of former Home Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire, who went missing along with two other family members after his jeep plunged into the Trishuli river six days ago, was performed with state honors at Pashupati Aaryaghat on Friday.
