GORKHA, Oct 10: A road section linking Barpak and Laprak of Gorkha district has been obstructed for the past three months.

GORKHA, Oct 8: The snail-paced reconstruction by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has compelled the quake victims of Laprak, Dharche Rural Municipality, to spend their fourth consecutive Dashain in tents.

LAPRAK (Gorkha), Feb 17: Laprak is naturally beautiful and people are amazing. Their simplicity attracts anyone who visits the village. Laprak is 2150 meters above the sea level.

GORKHA, Jan 31: After nearly two years of the great earthquake, homeless victims of Gorkha are likely to receive new residences with the support of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). But the association's condition has put the victims in a fix. The association has asked the victim families to manage raw materials for constructing their house on their own. For the victims the condition is very hard to meet.

LAPRAK, Jan 12: In the past three weeks, Laprak received two heavy snowfalls that left the area covered in thick layers of snow. With the temperature continuously dipping down, there is no sign of the snow melting. The biting cold has made life very hard for the quake victims who are still living in tents that are thatched with snow.

GORKHA, Oct 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today laid the foundation stone for construction of the model settlement at Laprak of Gorkha amidst a ceremony held here.
