KATHMANDU, March 17: With Gopal Parajuli relieved as the country's chief justice (CJ), Dr Govinda KC now wants Prof Dr Tirtha Raj Khaniya, vice-chancellor (VC) of the Tribhuvan University (TU), removed from his post “for working in the interest of the medical mafia.”

KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Nepali Congress has recommended Tribhuvan University Vice-chancellor Tirtha Khaniya as a candidate to contest the parliamentary election from Chitwan district. He has been recommended for a proportional representation seat from Chitwan's constituency number 1.
