KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Internet service providers (ISPs) of Nepal have halted payments to the service provider in India for 10 months accusing the government of not addressing the foreign exchange rate issues.

KATHMANDU, March 26: Indian companies Tata and Airtel have sent letters to Nepal's Internet Service Providers (ISPs), warning that the internet bandwidth entering Nepal will be blocked as they have not received payment for five months.

KATHMANDU, March 29: The use of internet bandwidth has increased by 25% in recent days due to the nationwide lockdown. The lockdown has forced people to work from home and children are also using the internet for entertainment and educational purposes.
