KATHMANDU, May 1:  The International Workers’ Day or International Labor Day is being marked across the country today. The Day has been marked since 1889 in recognition of the 1886’s workers’ movement that demanded respect to work in the US.

KATHMANDU, May 1: Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha has pledged to make the country's labor sector systematic and decent through the implementation of fundamental rights relating to labor as mentioned in the Constitution of Nepal.

KATHMANDU, May 1: The International Labor Day is being marked today by organizing various programs by different labor unions and workers, recalling the victory of laborers for their demand for eight-hours of work and legal rights.

KATHMANDU, May 1: The 130th International Workers’ Day, is being marked across the country today. The Day is being marked since 1890 in recognition to the 1986’s workers’ movement that demanded respect to work in the US.
