Kathmandu was supposed to be the venue for the 20 th edition of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2019 which got cancelled due to controversy around two months ago. Meanwhile, it was attended by scores of B-Town celebrities that turned out to be amazing, as expected. While Ranveer Singh walked away with the best actor trophy for 'Padmaavat', Alia Bhatt won the best actress for her role in ‘Raazi’.

BIRATNAGAR, July 5: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal on Friday afternoon has said that the government will host IIFA awards in Kathmandu despite widespread public outcry.
