KATHMANDU, April 9: After the Nepali Congress (NC) did not backtrack on its demand of forming a parliamentary panel to investigate Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has put forward a counter-demand.

The draft of the high-level probe committee was prepared by a task force consisting of the leaders of the three major political parties, in the meeting held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday morning.

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: A group of civilians on Saturday gathered spontaneously at Maitighar Mandala to stage a protest demanding that the report of the high-level probe committee on the rape and murder case of Nirmala Panta be made public. They also demanded the government to book perpetrators immediately.
