Huawei delays global launch of foldable phone by three months

HONG KONG, June 15: Huawei will delay the launch of its much-touted foldable 5G Mate X smartphone by three months, the latest setback for the company that was slapped with U.S. sanctions last month.

Samsung stole the show at the Mobile World Congress with its Galaxy Fold, but it is by no means the only foldable smartphone – several other devices using alternative folding mechanisms are also on the way.
