KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Hard Rock Café celebrated its first anniversary at Sherpa Mall, Durbar Marg, on November 4. The celebration started with the red carpet event for special guests and Lakhe Dance. Then, the program continued with the tradition of smashing the guitar. The event was then carried on by live musical performances by the band ‘Elements’ and Jindabaad. The event concluded with a DJ session. Bernd Conrad, Director of the Operations Asia Pacific North, Malcolm Chao, Area Vice President of Asia Pacific Region, Hard Rock, Cristina Lopes, Director of Sales & Marketing Franchise Cafes, Hard Rock International, Cristina Lopes, Director of Sales & Marketing Franchise Cafes, Hard Rock International and Sanjib Tuladhar, owner of the café also attended the event.

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Provincial governments have started blaming the center for lack of support after the seven provinces started bearing the brunt of public ire for failing to bring a marked difference in the lives of commoners within the first year of their tenure. All the provincial governments celebrated their first anniversary this month with little to boast in their progress report. Chief ministers have cited formulation of new laws as their major achievements, something they claim have laid the foundation for smooth functioning of the provincial governments.
