KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) is in a state of confusion regarding the fixation of fares for electricity-driven public transport vehicles.

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The government has increased the fare of public transport. Along with the increase in the price of petroleum products by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has revised fare rates for passenger and cargo vehicles for inter-provincial public transport.

KATHMANDU, July 17: Along with the introduction of an automated pricing system for petroleum products, the government has also reduced the fare of public vehicles. KATHMANDU, July 24: The government of Bagmati Province has increased the fares of public transport running in the province including in the Kathmandu Valley. The Bagmati Province Labor, Employment and Transport Minister's decision on July 2 decided to increase the fare of public vehicles running in Bagmati Province by 8.39 percent.
