Sajha staffers knock MoE doors for salary

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: The permanent staffers of Sajha Prakashan have knocked the doors of the Ministry of Education (MoE), seeking help to release their salaries for the last seven months.

KATHMANDU, Nov 15: According to the 2017 Open Doors Report, Nepali students studying in U.S. universities are the fastest growing international student population studying at colleges and universities in the United States.  The report is released annually by the Institute of International Education and the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and examines trends related to international students studying in the United States.

This picture was taken on the day of Gai Jatra in Bhaktapur. It was raining, the event was almost over and everyone was returning home. The two ladies in traditional attire and the sculpture created an interesting frame. The worn out plaster on the arch represents its age, and also tell a story about how the building is aging but the traditions and festivals are keeping it alive.
