"I would bring you some chocolates upon my return," the words from her father just before he had been leaving for Salyan, the district headquarters of Salyan, still reverberate in her mind.
KALIKOT, Aug 31: Families of those who were made to disappear during the decade-long Maoist insurgency have said that the government has ignored their plight. During the conflict era, altogether 28 people from the district were made to disappear by the state and the Maoists, according to the records maintained at the District Administrative Office (DAO).
KHOTANG, Aug 5: Three boys who were part of a school educational tour have disappeared in Gokyo lake in Solukhumbu. Pemba Dorje Sherpa, 17, Pemba Nuru Sherpa, 16, and Sunil Baraili, 16, went missing on Saturday after they dived into the lake, which is situated 5,000 meters above the sea level.

However, while the scarcity of medicines in the health posts and government hospitals is not an unheard issue, the situation in Mugu is no different. Amid this, the authorities put the blame on 'surprising disappearance' of the drugs on the way.
