KHOTANG, August 4: Kisan Hingmang, a 27-year-old tractor driver of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-3, Bamrang, has been found dead. Hingmang, a tractor driver of Lahure Hardware operating at Kirat Chowk in Diktel, was found dead in his bedroom this morning.

KHOTANG, Nov 21: Although the construction works of the Diktel Urban Drinking Water and Sanitary Project in Majuwa Gadhi Municipality, Diktel, started more than six months ago, the progress of the project has been slow than expected.

KHOTANG, Nov 9: Two houses burn to ashes and three were damaged after fire broke out at Diktel, Khotang on Friday. Houses belonging to Krishna Shrestha and Ambika Budhathoki of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality-1 have been completely destroyed in the incident. Also the houses of Raju Shrestha , Rabidhoj Rai and Pele Gurung were damaged in the incident.

KHOTANG, Nov 1: Banibelas Dhungana of Dhakalbesi of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhu Municipality-15 has grown over 1000 saplings of various species of banana in his field. Bananas, which grow all year round, are used for multiple purposes including consumption, giving gifts, and for religious purpose. A rising banana market has made banana farming extremely popular.
