A number of anomalies in public and private health institutes are being reported in recent times but the Ministry of Health under Upendra Yadav does not seem to be doing anything substantive to curb them and hold to account those who are neglecting their duties. One such mess recently reported concerns neglect of patients in Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: As there is a mounting concern that the outbreak of dengue could affect the upcoming Visit Nepal 2020, government officials said they have taken all necessary measures to ensure that no tourist is affected by this mosquito-borne fever.

Minister Khanal discharged from hospital

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Chakrapani Khanal, who was hospitalized after being diagnosed with dengue, has been discharged on Monday after five days of treatment at Tokha-based Grande International Hospital.
