Although his prolonged stay in Banaras would teach him a lot about music and life, his initial days at BHU were reminiscent of his days at the Lalitkala Campus. He couldn’t grasp a lot of what was being taught in class and was performing poorly.

KATHMANDU, July 30: Uma Maheshwar Sangeet Pratisthan, Kritipur, hosted a classical and devotional musical concert at the premises of the Uma Maheshwar temple this Saturday.  The event marks the second edition of the classical music event.

The ongoing third Gharana Music Festival 2017 has brought together many national and international artists in Nepal under a single platform and has associated many known names for the festival. The festival is a celebration of music and talent that these artists have. MY CITY’s Nasana Bajracharya caught up with two Nepali bands that have collaborated with Gharana Music Foundation this year and talked about their experience and expectations from the Festival.
