District Attorney registers complaint filed by lawmaker Yadav for his alleged abduction by two NCP lawmakers, former IGP Khanal

KATHMANDU, May 4: The District Attorney Office, Kathmandu, on Monday registered a complaint against ruling Nepal Communist Party lawmakers Mahesh Basnet and Kisan Shrestha, and former Inspector General of Nepal Police, Sarbendra Khanal, for the alleged abduction of Janata Samajbadi party lawmaker Dr Surendra Yadav.

KATHMANDU, April 26: The Metropolitan Police Range (MPR), Kathmandu, has refused to register the first information report (FIR) against ruling Nepal Communist Party lawmakers Mahesh Basnet and Kisan Shrestha, and former Inspector General of Nepal Police, Sarbendra Khanal for the alleged abduction of the Janata Samajbadi party lawmaker Surendra Yadav. Basnet is also a former minister.
