RANJHA, Feb 9: As many as 16 cameras installed in the Banke and Bardiya National Parks for a tiger census have reportedly been stolen. Similarly, six have been damaged by elephants, according to the National Trust for Nature Conservation, Bardiya, chief Dr Rabin Kadariya.

RAUTAHAT, Feb 6: Cameras that were installed in a forest of Rautahat to count tigers are missing. The cameras were set up by the National Trust for Nature Conservation and the National Park and Divisional Forest Office for counting tigers in the forest.

Tiger count concludes in first block

CHITWAN, Dec 27: Tiger census has come to a conclusion in the first block of Chitwan National Park (CNP) and Parsa National Park complex.

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Tiger census will be kicking off in Nepal on December 5. The national event to be led by the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation will be launched from the Chitwan National Park (CNP).

Tiger census to be conducted next month

CHITWAN, Oct 25: The Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation has started preparation to conduct a census of tigers in the national parks of Nepal in mid-November and mid-December. The census is conducted in the interval, which is calculated every four-five years.
