TAPLEJUNG, April 18: The district of Taplejung has received significant investment in hydropower projects in the Tamor River, the main river in the district, and other rivers.

MYANGLUNG (Terhathum), Dec 18: The construction of a concrete bridge over the Lubughat-based Tamor River is yet to be completed even though 12 years have elapsed since its contract signing.
Contractors continue excavating Tamor River despite warnings

PANCHTHAR, Feb 9On Thursday, an excavator was parked along the Tamor River in Majhitar for the extraction of construction materials. The excavator was digging deep into the river while a tipper and tractor were busy loading and unloading sand and stones. This site falls 500 meters within the suspension bridge.
