KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Lawmaker of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) Gagan Thapa said that the provision to remove the office bearers of the university through 51 per cent votes would have an adverse impact on the university's autonomy.

As per the recent development, the house panel endorsed the amendment proposal on existing Some Nepal Acts making it mandatory for the aspiring students to have studied in government schools from class 6 to 10.
