KATHMANDU, March 16: Although government officials announced in public that the second batch of vaccines purchased from India’s Serum Institute would arrive by Monday, the vaccine maker did not send the vaccine to Nepal. It is uncertain as to when the company will supply the vaccine to Nepal.

BENGALURU, Sept 29: Serum Institute of India said on Tuesday it would get a further $150 million in funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the GAVI vaccines alliance to make an additional 100 million COVID-19 vaccine doses for India and other low- and middle-income countries next year.
