Young man drowns in Rapti River

KATHMANDU, Feb 15: A young man has drowned in the Rapti River in Badreni, Ratnanagar Municipality of East Chitwan. According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, 31-year-old Prasanna Neupane of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11, drowned in the river.

KOHOLPUR, Aug 11: The Rapti river has continued eroding roads in Phattepur Village Development Committee (VDC) of Banke district forcing six villages to remain out of transportation service.
