House session prorogued

KATHMANDU, August 16: The ongoing session of the federal parliament has come to an end from 12:00 midnight today. House of Representatives Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota read out a letter received from the Office of the President on Monday’s meeting regarding the end of the meeting.

KATHMANDU, Oct 2: With the prorogation of the parliament session last week, 13 various urgent motions of public importance have been aborted without holding discussions on them in the House and without drawing the government's attention to them.
