KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that corruption control is becoming a challenge. Speaking at a program organized by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day on Friday, PM Deuba said that the control of corruption is becoming a challenge day by day, saying that there are multifaceted forms, causes and effects of corruption. He said that in the campaign against corruption, the role and activism of all the mechanisms of the state, including the courts, civil society and the media sector, is necessary.

DADELDHURA, Nov 16: Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba is arriving in Dadeldhura today. He is scheduled to attend and address election programs of the ruling alliance in the district.

BHAKTAPUR, Oct 27: President of Nepali Congress (NC), Sher Bahadur Deuba has pledged to address the grievances of Bhaktapur NC workers after the election. In a meeting with the party workers in Madhyapur Thimi on Thursday, Deuba said due to the compulsion of the alliance, the provincial assembly (2) seat of Bhaktapur had to be given to other parties. This will be compensated after the election.
