Residents of Pyuthan village forced to spend hours to fetch water

PYUTHAN, Jan 7: Numi Devi Nagarkoti, 60, a resident of Jhimruk Rural Municipality-6, Phyuthan, goes to a public tap to fetch water everyday before sunrise. After waking up at four in the morning, her first job is to go to the nearby tap to fetch water.
Lightning claims two, three others hurt

PYUTHAN, Feb. 9: Two persons died at Syauliwang Kharkhola in Naubahini Rural Municipality-1 in Pyuthan district. Three other persons were hurt while many other livestock succumbed after being struck from the lightning occurred at around 10:00 pm on Friday, police said.
