Anger brews within ruling party

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Anger is brewing within the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) due to the failure of the leadership to assign roles and responsibilities to party leaders.  Many influential leaders have remained idle since the party was formed after the merger of the then CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre).

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Prajatantrik) and Ekikrit Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Rastrawadi) on Friday merged to form a new party named Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Samyukta).

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Prajatantrik) headed by Pashupati Shumshere Rana and the Ekikrit Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Rastrabadi) headed by Prakash Chandra Lohani are merging to form a new party on Friday. The two parties in a joint statement said they will announce the unification at a function in Kathmandu on Friday.
