SURKHET, Sept 16: The government has been advised to blacklist a construction company which has done nothing about building a bridge over the Bheri River along the Bhurigaun-Telpani road, a short route connecting Karnali with Bardiya, even 10 years after the signing of a contract for the same. The Road Division Office, Surkhet, has terminated the contract and recommended to the government to blacklist the Pappu/Mall JV, which was awarded the contract to build the bridge.

KATHMANDU, Feb 20: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted seven errant contractors, including the controversial Pappu Construction, for their substandard work and for failing to complete projects on time.

Road officials relent to Pappu's demand

GORKHA, Sept 20: The Department of Roads (DOR) and the Office of Chhewetar-Bhaluswara—Barpak Road Construction Project appear to be working hand in glove with the defaulter contractor Pappu Construction, which has failed to complete the construction of a bridge over the Trishuli River within the set deadline.
