New UK envoy submits credentials to president

KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Newly-appointed British Ambassador to Nepal Nicola Kathryn Pollit submitted her credential to President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday. She is the first female ambassador of UK to Nepal since the two countries established diplomatic relations 200 years ago. Along with Ambassador Pollit, non-resident ambassadors of Lebanon, Estonia and Iraq also submitted their credentials to President Bhandari on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 7: Nicola Kathryn Pollit is succeeding Richard Morris as UK ambassador to Nepal. The newly-appointed UK ambassador Pollit will take over the responsibility within this month.
