KATHMANDU, Jan 11: The local bourse witnessed a choppy trading session in the last trading day of the week. The benchmark Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index posted move to the upside in the beginning of the day’s trading. The index came under pressure slightly after mid-day but maintained a positive bias throughout the session. At the close, Nepse stood at 1,180.84 points – up marginally from previous day’s close at 1,179.36 points.
KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Stocks traded on a positive note on Monday with the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index witnessing a steady advance in the first half of the trading session. Though the benchmark index, which crossed 1,180 points in the afternoon, pulled back slightly, it maintained a positive bias to close the day at 1,177.46 points – up 6.67 points against the preceding day.
KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Nepalese stocks struggled throughout the week as the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index turned red in all five trading sessions. Trading began on Sunday with a drop of more than 10 points in the index followed by a further loss of over 17 points on Monday.
