KATHMANDU, August 14: The Nayab Subbas (non-gazetted first class government employees) are protesting across the country, demanding capacity and career development programs.

KATHMANDU, August 9: The non-gazetted first class government employees i.e. Nayab Subba, who are working in various offices across the country, are going to take a day off in protest on Tuesday because of the government's unequal salary increment. Uttam Katuwal, Senior Vice President of Nepal Civil Servants Union (NCSU) said that they protested against the unequal increase in salary on Monday and are on a day off today and demanded that their demands be included in the draft of the Federal Civil Service Act.

KATHMANDU, August 8: The non-gazetted government employees have protested as the salaries of the higher-level employees have been increased haphazardly, contrary to the budget announcement. Nayab Subbas (non-gazetted first class officials) have decided to stay on leave tomorrow (Tuesday) as they are not satisfied with the government's decision.
