JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 22: Five representatives have been elected unopposed before the voting for the new leadership in Province 2 under the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.

KATHMANDU, Dec 22: The election result for the post of Central Member of Nepali Congress (Lumbini Province) has been made public. Devendra Raj Kandel and Chandra Bahadur KC won in the central member category by securing 2,727 and 2,267 votes, respectively.

JHAPA, Sept 5: The Nepali Congress (NC) unanimously elected the party’s leadership in 55 wards of Jhapa district in the lead up to the upcoming 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress. Regional representatives and ward level chairpersons and other office bearers have been unanimously elected in 131 wards while conventions are underway in other wards, according to chief of the party's District Publicity Department Krishna Humagain.
