Miss Universe is heading to Israel for its 70th competition. The Miss Universe Organization announced Tuesday that the pageant will be held this December in the southern resort city of Eilat.

After a year and a half, the Miss Universe competition will return with a live telecast on May 16. The 69th Miss Universe event will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood.

Since 2017, Nepal began its journey to Miss Universe beauty pageant that continued for three consecutive years. However, this year Nepal won’t be participating in Miss Universe.

BANGKOK, Dec 17: Catriona Gray of the Philippines was named a winner of the Miss Universe 2018 competition in the Thai capital Bangkok, besting contestants from 93 other countries to claim the prize.
