KATHMANDU, April 24: The supply of water from the Melamchi River in Sindhupalchowk to the Kathmandu Valley that was disrupted following major floods and landslides in Sindhupalchowk some 10 months ago has  resumed from today.

KATHMANDU, August 26: The Melamchi Drinking Water Development Committee has worked out a plan to find access to the water project site so as to restore damaged structures. The project had suffered significant damages from the June 15 devastating flood in the Melamchi River.

KATHMANDU, March 6: The much-awaited water from Malamchi Drinking Water Project is set to arrive in Kathmandu on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 2: With the completion of 99 percent works of Melamchi Drinking Water Project, Kathmandu Valley, where the federal capital city is located, is expected to get access to clean drinking water from the Melamchi River starting mid-April, 2021.
