32 tourists rescued from Manaslu

GORKHA, March 29: The local administration has rescued 32 tourists from Manaslu trekking route in the last three days. The tourists who trekked to the popular destination were stranded due to lockdown imposed in the country over the risk of novel coronavirus. According to Harka Rokka, an official at the district administration office, the tourists were rescued from Wednesday to Saturday and some of them have already been sent off to Kathmandu.

GORKHA, Sept 15: Following complaints from trekking guides and porters of discriminating rates based on personal acquaintance, lodges and restaurants along the Manaslu trekking route have decided that they will charge them uniform rates from now onwards. Likewise, they will also charge the trekkers uniform rates, by implementing a set menu.
