PRAYAGRAJ, Feb 8: At the world’s biggest religious festival, the Hindu Kumbh Mela in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state, the spiritual message for the faithful is deep and profound.

More than 120 million Hindu devotees are to visit the northern city of Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad) for the world’s largest religious festival, at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers.

PRAYAGRAJ, INDIA, Jan 15: Thousands of portable toilets line roads constantly swept clean, drinking water flows from newly installed taps, electric substations power a massive tent city and billboards encourage a “clean Kumbh,” an extension of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s huge push to improve sanitation across the country.
