Whoopi Goldberg returned to “The View” on Monday after a two-week suspension for remarks about the Holocaust, expressing surprise at some people who had reached out to her during her absence.

Whoopi Goldberg was suspended for two weeks Tuesday as co-host of “The View” because of what the head of ABC News called her “wrong and hurtful comments” about Jews and the Holocaust.

For some survivors of the Holocaust, the vow to “never forget” takes on a special meaning when they have only faded memories, or none at all, of parents they lost as young children.

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The United Nations Nepal together with the Embassy of Germany, the Embassy of Israel, the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal (EU) and Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools' Association Nepal (HISSAN) on Wednesday initiated a week-long educational outreach program on Holocaust with the youth of seven provinces in Nepal today.

JERUSALEM, August 12: Holocaust survivor Israel Kristal, who last year was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest living man, died in Israel on Friday, aged 113, local news media reports said.
