KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Armed Police Force (APF) has established Help Desks at 122 locations and Health Desks at 33 places across the country to prevent untoward activities during the nearing Dashain, Tihar and Chhat festivals.

TIKAPUR, March 19: The Nepal-India border point at Khakraula in Tikapur Municipality – 9 remains crowded all the time. It is estimated that over 2,000 people cross this border point on a daily basis. However, the health desk set up there is no sufficient to check the health condition of the travelers. This lapse is likely to turn costly for the prevention and control of the possible spread of coronavirus.

POKHARA, March 17: The Pokhara Sub-metropolitan City has established a health desk at Lakeside, Pokhara, to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

BAITADI, March 11: In view of coronavirus panic, an isolation ward has been set up in Baitadi as a preparedness measure, said the district hospital. The ward set up inside the hospital has three beds where people with suspected coronavirus infection will be kept and treated, said medical superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Basanta Raj Joshi.

'Health desk' set up at Chisapani

KAILALI, March 10: The Social Development Ministry of the Sudurpaschim province government has set up a health desk at Chisapani, Karnali in its eastern checkpoint with the rise in the risks of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

MAHOTTARI, Feb 4: In order to check possible outbreak of coronavirus infection, health desks have been set up in 11 different places in Mahottari along the Indian border.
