KATHMANDU, March 30: Tribhuvan University (TU) is set to offer question papers for undergraduate-level examination in both English and Nepali languages.

SURKHET, Sept 4: Province Public Service Commission (PSC), Surkhet, has canceled the examination of 22 candidates who wrote their names, phone numbers and roll numbers on their answer sheets to influence the examiners. The provincial PSC has also taken action by debarring one person for two years and 21 people for one year to take the examination.

KATHMANDU, July 20: Students vandalized the Hetauda Campus, Makwanpur, on wednesday, saying that an examination invigilator misbehaved with the girl students. The students chanted slogans and vandalized the campus saying that two female students who had come for the exam this morning were misbehaved.

KATHMANDU, August 16: The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is preparing to conduct examinations for the selection of 12,000 new teachers across the country. The examination of the commission, which should be opened every six month, has not opened for the past three years. This inordinate delay has made some 717,105 new manpower with teaching permits unable to enter into the teaching profession.

Govt preparing to publish results by Mid-August

Amid concerns raised from various quarters, the CCMC has decided to restrict cross-border movement of foreign nationals from all land entry points with India and those coming to Nepal via air route will also have to stay in quarantine for 14 days. The CCMC has also recommended enforcing lockdown if any urban district has already witnessed 500 cases of COVID-19 and hilly districts more than 200 cases.

But is it necessary for all students to take this exam to complete grade 10 and to graduate to higher secondary or intermediate level education (12th grade)?
