To tackle water scarcity, Pakistanis crowdsourcing a mammoth dam project

TEHRAN, Sept 15: According to a recent report by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Pakistan ranks among the top three countries with acute water scarcity. UN agencies like United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) have also sounded alarm bells that Pakistan, which has the world’s fourth-largest rate of water usage, might run entirely dry by 2025.
