KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has recommended the three tiers of the governments to prepare and enforce national standards so as to bring uniformity in the actions related to the need assessment, cost estimate, plan execution and maintenance and operation of information technology systems.

KATHMANDU, June 7: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case in the special court against nine personnel including the then Mayor Hari Jung Shahi, Deputy Mayor Suntala Rokaya, Chief Administrative Officer, engineer, Chairman of Consumer Committee of Chhayanath Rara Municipality in Mugu. The anti-graft body registered a case against the four on Tuesday demanding Rs 22,36,000 as compensation.

The private secretaries of the Minister of Tourism, various party-affiliated employees' unions, officials of organizations, and the employees of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) go to the mountain climbing time and again as liaison officers. But the employees who do not have links with powerful people do not get the opportunity even after completing five-six years of training to become a liaison officer.
