Youth dedicate themselves to serve COVID-infected, cremate the dead

LAHAN, May 19: A 38-year-old youth of Janakpurdham Metropolitan City-11 suffered from cold and fever. His RT PCR test turned out to be positive. He was taking medicine at home as per the advice of a doctor, but he collapsed at home on Monday. His panicked parents rushed to Rakesh Bikram Shah of the Janakpur-based Covid Quick Response Team.
COVID-infected lost lives due to state’s insensitivity: Supreme Court

KATHMANDU, May 18: While concluding that people infected with COVID-19 were losing life due to lack of treatment as a result of state’s insensitivity, the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday directed the government to formulate a detailed action plan within seven days to ensure effective response to COVID-19 pandemic.
