The national bodybuilding champion, Ram Dahal, has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the World Bodybuilding Championship that is scheduled to be held in Dubai, UAE from November 7-10.

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: The Government has decided to honour athletes, coaches and officials winning laurels for the nation in various competitions with cash prize worth Rs 15.6 million. The prize recipients include those from cricket, football, bodybuilding and South Asian Games.

Carrying the triangular-shaped Nepal’s flag on his shoulder during the     award ceremony, Maharjan cried with joy when Nepal’s national anthem was played.
