KATHMANDU, June 25: Aspiring migrant worker youths who have not been able to go to South Korea even after passing the Korean Language Tests (KLT) in 2011 under the Korean Employment Permit System (EPS have warned of agitation if the government does not take an initiative to address their concerns.

Out of the 15,600 youngsters who passed the test in that year, only 8,000 have got employment opportunity in South Korea. Organizing a press conference in the capital on Tuesday, representatives of those remaining 7,600 youths warned to stage protest  if the government fails to resolve the issue. [break]

“We are unable to leave for South Korea due to the diplomatic failure of the government even after passing the EPS-KLT exam. If the government does not address our problem, we will bring a protest program,”  Saroj Dhakal, an aspirant for job in South Korea, said.
