Mobile applications have attained much popularity among people where the trend of using such applications is growing into a regular practice. With the introduction of election app, it has further helped in keeping the practice going. Here, Republica talked to a few people to know if they have started using the application launched by the Election Commission to keep them updated with the upcoming election activities.

I had come across the application developed by Election Commission of Nepal to disseminate information related to the election. While I feel it is an encouraging and commendable step taken by the commission to use advanced technology to keep the voters updated on the latest progress and election code of conduct. I personally have not installed or used the application yet because various means of media has kept me moderately aware about the elections. I plan to see how the application works and if it has been designed effectively and is user-friendly to people who are less techno-savvy.

I hardly gather interest in politics but since the elections are being held after almost two decades, I am curious to know how it comes up. I have not been using the application developed by Election Commission but I have rather been following the news relating to the elections through various forms of media. The application has been developed specifically for the purpose of providing detailed information to the voters and citizens therefore; I suppose it would be more effective in bringing the matter into light.

I have downloaded the Election Commission of Nepal’s application in my mobile phone. I find the application useful at this point of time since there have been various speculations, sudden changes in plans and important information related to the election lately. Thus whenever I am away from TV and newspapers, I seek to gather information from the application. Since the upcoming elections are going to be historical being held after decades, I hope this application would encourage and keep voters informed about the elections.

I was not aware about the app facility provided by the Election Commission until now but I have been trying to get information about the upcoming elections through other medium. I appreciate the techno-friendly initiative taken by the commission to keep the citizens well informed and advised regarding an important event to be held in our country. I believe the authentic application introduced by the Election Commission would be most reliable source for the information to be passed. Thus, I look forward to installing it before the election.

I have recently downloaded the application developed by Election Commission in order to collect information regarding the upcoming election. My curiosity to know about the upcoming election that is taking place after such a long period actually drew me to install the application. It has made the process convenient for the previously registered individual to find out their voter number, polling location and candidate information. It has provided me with the detailed information about the upcoming election.

Though the upcoming election has been the talk of the town, it has hardly become my topic of interest. Therefore, I have not yet downloaded the application developed by the Election Commission. Moreover, since I have been informed about it through social media and other means of communication, I find the application necessary to be installed by the people who are highly keen on politics and those who seek for minute- to-minute updates.
