Youth arrested for trying to steal crown from Narayanhiti Palace Museum

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: An attempt has been made to break the glass shield and steal the crown kept at the Narayanhiti Palace Museum.

Khem Bahadur Bhandari, 25, of Rukum West has been arrested by the police after he tried to break the glass and wear the crown.

While he was observing the artifacts in the museum, he saw the crown and screamed, “I will wear the crown and become the king now.”

According to the police, he is being interrogated at Durbar Marg Police Circle.
