Youth accused of raping 13-year-old arrested

BARDIBAS, Dec 14: The local authorities have arrested a youth in accusation of raping a 13-year-old girl here. 

Bishnu Rajbanshi of Maheshpur – 1 of Jhapa was arrested in accusation of raping the girl, Area Police Office, Bardibas said. He is accused of raping the girl from Danda village of Bardibas Municipality – 10 in the afternoon on November 19, police said. 

The perpetrator had been absconding following the incident and was arrested only on Tuesday, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Shaligram Sharma, of Area Police Office, Bardibas. He will be tried under a rape case. RSS
