Two years after launching the book, ‘She is the Story’, this was the next series where some of the young women leaders featured in the book shared their personal stories. The event aimed at empowering and encouraging women through storytelling session, triggering change and giving mental support to girls and women.
As per the press statement, on the first session, Artist and Co-founder of Artree Nepal, Sheelasha Rajbhandari shared her story with the audience where the students and teachers from Shree Chamunda Secondary School and other various colleges witnessed the event. The session ended with question-and-answer session.
Similarly, Christina Shrestha, a young football player shared her story on the second session of the event. She talked about the importance of believing on your strengths no matter how tough the challenges may seem on the way. President of YUWA, Amit Timilsina along with the members and volunteers from the organization were present during the session that also ended with question-and-answer session.
