YAN demands probe committee on Tiwari's murder

KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Youth Association Nepal (YAN) has demanded formation of a probe committee to investigate the murder of YAN – Rupendehi Chairman, Durga Tiwari.

At a press conference held on Tuesday, YAN Chairman, Rajiv Pahari, has called for disclosure of facts after an investigation into the murder and action against those held responsible.

He added that the murder took place in order to weaken national integrity and designed to foil the agitation in Province no 5. He warned of calling a nationwide general strike if a probe committee is not formed.

Pahari also shared that the YAN will enforce a strike to disrupt transportation across the country today.

Meanwhile, YAN has formed a separate probe committee under the coordination of its General Secretary, Kiran Poudel with Naresh Shahi and Ashok Chand as members. RSS
